Inclusion and diversity
Our approach to inclusion and diversity is about reflecting our diverse communities, making Endeavour Energy a place where everyone belongs, and putting our people and customers at the heart of what we do. We celebrate our differences and welcome people with all different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives. We’re building an inclusive, flexible and supportive workplace where everyone feels respected and supported to grow.
By embracing diversity of thought, background and experience within an inclusive workplace, we will create a brighter future for our people, customers and communities. Our inclusion and diversity strategy focuses on three strategic areas:
Inclusion
We’re committed to fostering an open and inclusive culture where every team member feels valued. We’re doing this by building diverse collaborative teams with inclusive leaders and by providing a safe, supportive and flexible working environment.
By empowering our people to balance their work and family life and look after their wellbeing we support them to be at their best whilst growing their career. We offer flexibility, family inclusive and wellbeing programs and support to help our people thrive at work and at home.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders
We are committed to building respectful relationships and providing meaningful employment opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Our goal is to grow our representation, and develop careers, for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Find out more about our Reconciliation Action Plan here

Gender equity
By proactively breaking down barriers, challenging bias and fostering an inclusive environment, we are committed to ensuring equal opportunities for women and men to thrive and succeed in their career and life. We have a specific focus on increasing representation of women in leadership and non-traditional roles. Our ongoing goal is to have gender balance in our Apprentice and Graduate intakes. Since 2018, 44% of our new apprentices have been women and gender diverse.
To promote women in STEM, we partner with Western Sydney Women to sponsor the Future is Bright STEM mentoring program, which aims to inspire and empower high school girls in Western Sydney to pursue STEM careers.
