Community Batteries

Community batteries give customers more choice on how they generate, share and consume energy.

They are part of an exciting initiative to make the most of rooftop solar on homes across the Endeavour Energy network.

Community batteries provide a shared battery allowing a group of neighbours to store and share solar power - you don’t have to have rooftop solar or to own your own home to participate.

For residents with solar, your excess solar is stored in the community battery and available when you need it. For residents without solar, excess solar generated by your neighbours is stored in the community battery - and will be available for you to use.
