Power outage update – Saturday 29 November 12pm

Endeavour Energy recognises the impact of extended power outages.  This event has been particularly challenging given the extent & severity of damage and impact of total fire bans on our ability to restore quickly.

As this is an 'excluded/extraordinary' event the current Guaranteed Service Level payments do not apply. GSL = Guaranteed Service Levels for reliability, payments apply when normal service standards aren’t met, but not for outages caused by extreme storms, because those are classified as exceptional circumstances beyond operational control. Further information relating to GSL can be found on the AEMC website.

We encourage customers to contact their Home and Contents insurance provider for any claims, as they will be able to cover the actual cost of the losses incurred.

Endeavour Energy may be able to assist if you have been (1) without power for an extended period, (2) don’t have insurance and are (3) in financial hardship.

The ‘good will voucher’ is to recognise the potential need to replenish basic food supplies for those households that are not able to do so.

If eligible, you will be asked to provide an email address and an on-line voucher will be provided to you within the next ten business days.  The voucher is available for online purchases only.
