Endeavour Energy welcomes new government battery incentives

Endeavour Energy welcomes the announcement by the Commonwealth and New South Wales Governments to expand battery incentives for households and small businesses, making clean, affordable, and reliable energy more accessible to more Australians.

The commitment doubles government battery incentives in NSW, providing up to $5,000 in upfront savings for solar battery installations connected to Virtual Power Plants.

Battery storage plays a crucial role in helping households and businesses to maximise the benefits of rooftop solar by storing excess solar energy for later use. Batteries contribute to:

• lower energy bills by maximising the use of cheap solar power
• reduced emissions by increasing access to renewable energy for all customers
• improve grid stability and downward pressure on network costs by reducing peak demand.
