The report details the proactive activities implemented through its Electricity Network Safety Management System to address key network risks.
The objectives of the safety management system are:
Protect the safety of people working on or near the network
Safeguard property and network assets
Raise public awareness about electrical safety
Manage the risk of powerlines starting bushfires
Manage the safety risks arising from loss of electricity supply to customers
The report shows key risks and trends that enable Endeavour Energy to track the success of projects and programs designed to proactively improve safety outcomes.
