Crews have restored power to around 5,000 customers impacted by strong winds across the Illawarra overnight. Restoration efforts continue today, with power expected to return to remaining customers in the #Beaumont, #Jamberoo, #Jerrara, and #SaddlebackMountain areas.
We expect wind gusts up to 100km/h to across the Illawarra and Southern Highlands, continuing into the evening and following days. Our crews are on standby to keep communities safe and restore power as quickly as possible.
