Our network is more than wires and poles. It’s a smart, connected system that supports how we use and share energy today and tomorrow. We’re constantly upgrading the network with new technology to improve reliability and keep power on as our communities grow.

Our $6.7 billion electricity network spans 24,800 square kilometres, including more than 185 major substations, around 300,000 power poles owned by us and another 100,000 in private ownership. We have 47,000 kilometres of wires and underground cables - long enough to stretch from Sydney to London and back.
