How we price our network tariffs

  • Revenue from our tariffs is essential for maintaining electricity supply to over 2.8 million people within the Endeavour Energy network
  • We work closely with customers and stakeholders to shape our future investments, expenditure, and service levels to help determine our tariff prices
  • Every five years the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) reviews our plans
  • They have accepted our tariff pricing for the period 2024-2029, recognising our plan balances affordability and service needs with future-focused investments to meet our customers' long-term needs
  • The AER also approved a modest increase in the Endeavour Energy portion of your electricity bills for FY26

Your energy supply explained

A distribution network like ours is part of an energy supply chain delivering the electricity you use every day.

Large energy generators use coal fired stations, gas and renewables like wind or pumped hydro produce the electricity
Transmission networks send high voltage power over long distances to communities across NSW
Distribution networks, like Endeavour Energy, safely connect low voltage power to your homes and businesses
Energy retailers then sell and bill you for the energy delivered by this supply chain

Our tariff as part of your bill

Energy retailers bundle all the costs of the energy supply chain, along with government charges, into their customer pricing plans. These include:
