Connecting to Endeavour Energy’s network

If you are upgrading your electrical installation or plan to construct a new home, building or development and it is within Endeavour Energy’s network area, you will need to ensure that there is an adequate connection to our electrical network.

In accordance with the Electricity Supply Act 1995 you may be required to arrange for and contribute to the costs involved with the work to supply your load. Any such work is deemed to be contestable works and is to be undertaken by an Accredited Service Provider of your choice.

Finding an Accredited Service Provider

The Electricity Supply Act 1995 requires that service providers who undertake contestable works must be accredited by the NSW Department of Trade and Investment, Regional Infrastructure and Services. Accredited Service Providers must also be authorised by Endeavour Energy to undertake contestable works within Endeavour Energy's network area.

A list of Accredited Service Providers is maintained by the NSW Department of Trade and Investment, Regional Infrastructure and Services. This list and its related information is available at the Department's website >> or by contacting the Department on (02) 9895 0008.
