How do I apply?

As a Trainee Engineering Officer, you will gain highly regarded on-the-job experience whilst you complete an Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology.

 

You will move through various areas of our Network business in 6 monthly intervals  in order to gain practical knowledge, skills and experience. You will be involved in activities such as network planning, control room operation, project management, designing new power lines and substations, analysing equipment failures, preparing Network standards, processing Network connection applications and inspecting Contestable work.

 

To be considered for this exciting career opportunity you need to meet the following key requirements:

  • Completion of at least one year of your Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology (minimum 4 modules completed)
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team 
  • Self motivated and hungry to learn
  • Excellent communication skills (written and interpersonal)
  • Willingness to travel to various work locations within Endeavour Energy's network area to gain experience in specific projects and activities

Previous experience within the electricity distribution industry and the successful completion of an electrical trade course will be highly regarded.
