Connecting to Endeavour Energy’s network has never been easier. You can connect immediately after you complete your application online.

New permanent connection

You need to complete an application if you want to connect a permanent load to our network. Connect online here if your:

  • land is zoned as urban by your local council.
  • maximum demand for electricity is no greater than 100 amperes 230 volts (single phase) or 63 amperes 400 volts (three phase).

You can apply online to connect up to four strata units if it meets the requirements above.

By submitting a complying application online, you will receive immediate permission to connect.

Please contact your electricity retailer to open an account for your site and obtain a National Meter Identifier (NMI) before submitting your application.

You cannot use our online services for Special Small Services (Unmetered Supplies).

Upgrading an existing permanent connection

You need to complete an application if you want to upgrade the electricity supply. Connect online here if your:

  • land is zoned as urban by your local council.
  • maximum demand for electricity is no greater than 100 amperes 230 volts (single phase) or 63 amperes 400 volts (three phase).

You can apply online to upgrade up to four strata units if it meets the requirements above.

Your NMI is usually printed on the bill and starts with 431 or NEEE.

You cannot use our online services for Special Small Services (Unmetered Supplies).

We will issue a letter granting you permission to upgrade your connection if we are able to verify your details. If your total load is greater or you are in an non-urban area, please submit a written application available here.

Temporary builder’s supply

Temporary supply arrangements can be made to allow the connection and supply of electricity while you are developing a site. Connect online here if your:

  • land is zoned as urban by your local council.
  • maximum demand for electricity is no greater than 100 amperes 230 volts (single phase) or 63 amperes 400 volts (three phase).

Temporary builder’s supplies are not an approved supply arrangement for continued supply of power to your property and may be subject to other requirements outlined here.

Solar systems 30kW or less

You need to complete an application if you want to install or upgrade a solar system. All solar systems are required to be connected to our network via an inverter that complies with AS4777. Connect online here if your total inverter capacity will be no more than:

  • 5 kilowatts for single phase connection.
  • 30 kilowatts for three phase connection.

We allow connection of up to 8kW total panels to a 5kW inverter or up to 40kW total panels to a 30kW inverter.
