Michael McLeod was appointed a non-executive director in March 2000, and Chairman in March 2002. Michael was previously the Chief Executive Officer of Australian Health Management, Australia’s seventh largest private health insurance company, and Chief Executive Officer of Australia’s largest medical indemnity insurance company. Michael also has the following non-executive director roles: Chairman of Capricorn Mutual Limited, an insurer owned and operated by the automotive industry and is a Director of iSelect Pty. Ltd, Australia’s largest intermediary of health insurance. Michael was previously Chairman of Eftpos Payments Australia limited, Australia’s national debit card system, and a past member of the Commerce Faculty Advisory Board, University of Wollongong. Michael is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Terry Downing was appointed a non-executive director in March 2000, and Deputy Chairman in March 2002. Terry is a Certified Practising Accountant, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a number of non-executive director roles across a range of organisations including Chairman, Energy Industries Superannuation Scheme, Director, MGIC Australia Group, and Board member, NSW Workers Compensation Insurance Fund Investment Board and the Private Health Insurance Administration Council. Previously, Terry held a number of senior executive positions in the financial services sector.

 


John Fahey AC

John Fahey was appointed a non-executive director in March 2002. A former Premier of NSW and member of the NSW Parliament for 12 years (1984–96), John was elected to the Commonwealth Parliament in 1996, serving as Minister for Finance and Administration from 1996 until 2001. He brings a commercial focus to the Board and a close insight into the needs and interests of Endeavour Energy’s customers gained from his experience representing residents in our franchise area during his state and federal parliamentary career. John holds the position of chairman and director on a number of commercial boards as well as being an advisor in the financial services sector. In 2007, John was elected President of the World Anti-Doping Agency. John was made a Companion of the Order of Australia in January 2002 and awarded the Federation Medal in 2003.

 

 

Penny Le Couteur

Penny Le Couteur was appointed a non-executive director in May 2008. Penny has over ten years’ experience as a non-executive director on a range of boards and her positions currently include Chairman, Employers Mutual Limited; and Director, WorkCover Tasmania and Ecotuitive Limited. Penny is a member of the Fair Trading Advisory Council. Previously, Penny has held a number of senior executive positions in the financial services, insurance and banking sectors as well as various positions with the Commonwealth Public Service. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Women Chiefs of Enterprise International.

 


Paul Sinclair

Paul Sinclair was appointed a non-executive director in January 1999. Paul is the Assistant Secretary of the Electrical Trades Union (NSW Branch). Paul has had 11 years experience as a non-executive director on the boards of the Australian Electrotechnology Industry Training Centre Ltd, the Electrotechnology Industry Group Training Company Ltd, the NSW Electrical Superannuation Scheme (NESS) and the NSW Utilities & Electrotechnology Industry Training Advisory Body (ITAB). Paul has been appointed by the Australian Government as a member of the NSW Local Trades Committee – Electrical (TRA), by the NSW Commissioner of Vocational Training as a member of the Vocational Training Tribunal and Vocational Training Appeal Panel and by Unions NSW as a member of the TAFE NSW Consultative Committee. Paul has extensive knowledge of the Electrotechnology Industry and has a very strong understanding of Industrial Relations.

 


Ron Quill

Ron Quill was appointed a non-executive director in December 2010. He has extensive experience as a senior executive in infrastructure and asset management, having worked for more than 30 years in the Australian water industry.

Vince Graham was appointed Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director on 7 April 2008.
Mr Graham was reappointed Chief Executive Officer for a further period of three years to April 2014. Prior to joining Endeavour Energy, Vince has had extensive experience in chief executive roles in large organisations both at a federal and state level across a number of industries, including the Grain Handling Authority, National Rail Corporation and RailCorp.
